Executive Director

Location: Blue Springs Missouri

Ultimate Responsibility to the Governing Body for the overall management of the office. Responsible for the effective and efficient use of all resources in carrying out the o! rganization’s purpose. Responsible as a liaison between board, staff and community. Responsible for sales management of local sales team, including coordination with Director of Business Development, and Business Development Specialist.
Will be the leader of an assigned cluster market. (more than 1 office)
Position to oversee the following offices: Kansas City, MO, Liberty, MO, Gallatin, MO & Overland Park, KS

Education
Degree in business, health care and nursing or related field. Nursing diploma acceptable.
Qualifications

Demonstrates problem solving and decision making abilities.
Demonstrated ability in program administration including knowledge of home, health care or hospice standards and policies and reimbursement practices.
Ability to develop and maintain rapport with the client, family and staff.
Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years in an administrative or supervisory capacity in a home health agency, hospice! or other related health program.
Experience in business a! dministration.
Physical Demands
Primary medium in nature with exerting up to 35 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, or otherwise move objects. Involves sitting, walking, standing, driving, talking, hearing, and prolonged phone and computer use. Ability to work at a desk for up to 8 hours per day.
Travel

Necessary on a daily basis; 25-75%
May occasionally require overnight travel.
Working Conditions

Inside, office environment. 25-50%.
Sales/Marketing calls to referral sources, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and physician offices 50-75%
