Package Delivery Driver [United States]

 

Job Description:
If you are new to delivering, you will be delivering in a cargo van. We also have larger FedEx step vans for drivers with experience delivering packages, and/or driving larger vehicles.
Fully-performing Delivery Drivers are guaranteed at least 5 shifts per week. You are guaranteed at least 8 hours per shift withWeekly Pay (paid every Friday).

As a Delivery Driver, you will show up to the terminal at 7:30am. You will drive a FedEx-branded vehicle, delivering 80-250 packages per day. You will be a delivery hero in the neighborhoods you serve - delivering packages to customers every day in the form of critical supplies, household goods, toys, and so much more. You can expect to work Monday - Saturday at 8-10hrs per day.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive at FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages

• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections

• Operate delivery vehicles safely, securely, and competently

• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weights without damage to the packages, vehicle, or yourself

• Effectively use GPS to arrive at your destinations accurately

• Scanning and logging packages

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to move boxes up to 150 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
