Provides advanced specialized vascular access to patients with identified needs requiring infusion therapy. Provide consultation and education to staff for patients with! infusion therapy and advanced access needs. Functions independently and in collaboration with nursing colleagues, physicians and /or with members of other health disciplines.
Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
BLS within 30 days.
Knowledge of advanced vascular access and infusion therapies.
3 PICC/Vascular access associated CEU's per year.
Critical thinking and decision making abilities.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to maintain a calm and controlled demeanor in face of hostility and crisis.
Ability to use fine motor skills for procedure completion.
CRNI certification preferred.
