Role Purpose
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations as well as accrediting body standards for the laboratory through review of records, patient test results, audits, etc.
Responsibilities
Delivers precise, timely , and accurate laboratory results.
Performs quality controls for all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctioning instrumentation as necessary.
Interprets applicable governmental and accreditation standards and regulations pertaining to operations in Transfusion Medicine and the collection, processing and storage of blood products.
Maintai! ns appropriate reports, documentation, procedures, etc. as required by federal, state and other regulatory agencies.
