facility, is a leading provider of behavioral hea! lth care in the
Kansas City area on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. For the
past 25 years the facility has provided 24-hour care for individuals
in need.
We have exciting
opportunities for Mobile Assessments Team members. This
position offers a very flexible schedule that will work around almost
any availability. The Mobile Assessment Team (MAT)
Clinician has scheduled on-call responsibility for assessment,
referral and admission activities. The MAT Clinician responds in one
hour or less to mobile assessment calls and provides appropriate
mental health/substance abuse assessments, crisis interventions and
referrals to an appropriate level of care with the support of the
Mobile Assessment Coordinator, Assessment and Referral Director, and
on-call physician.
Current needs include South Johnson County, KS
(Olathe, KS) area.
Requirements
Successful candidates will need to meet th! e
following requirements.
Education: Maste! rs Level in Counseling, Psychology
or Social Work field or Registered Nurse
Experience:
Prefer 3 years of assessment and crisis intervention experience with
a psychiatric mental health population.
Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse in the State of
Missouri/Kansas or Masters level Social Worker / Counselor /
Therapist with Missouri or Kansas Licensure in your field of
expertise strongly preferred.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge
of hospital admissions functions, leadership skills, crisis
intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology,
basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and
crisis and behavior management.
Supervision Received:
MAT/ARC Director
All RNs also report to the Director of Nursing
for oversight of Nursing Practices
