Current Needs: Currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a Medical Center in the St. Louis area. This is a temp to hire position. Shift for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5pm, must be flexible when required.
Medical Assistant Position Description :
- Prepare treatment rooms for patients
- Assist in the treatment of patients under the direction of an RN or LPN
- Administrative support when required
- Schedule appointments
- Insurance verification
- Vital Signs and EKG
- Other duties as assigned.
Completion of med! ical assistant program, preferred
Minimum Work Experience :
Phlebotomy skills a must.
At least one year on the job experience. Experience with EMR, a plus.
