Major duties and responsibilities:
- Create software using programming languages and source codes; create, maintain, and implement the source code that makes up an application or program; and develop data migration and integration processes.
- Troubleshoot de! velopment and production problems across multiple environments! and operating platforms.
- Test, debug and improve generally faulty applications; perform unit and system level testing on applications.
- Analyze user requirements and envision system features and functionality.
- Develop documentation and assistance tools. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates: Atten! tion to Detail: Takes a thorough, conscientious approach to work performed; Customer Service: Identifies a client or customer need and provides a quality product of service. Oral Communication: Expresses information via oral presentation; AND Problem Solving: Identifies problem, ascertains root cause and impact, and provides recommendations for resolution. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Creating software using programming languages and source code (e.g. Java, Net, or XML); utilizing Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Oracle information platform and other relational database management systems; AND testing, debugging, and improving faulty applications for customers.
OR
Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of prog! ressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

REQUIREMENTS:
