Responsibilities
The Certified Professional Coder is responsible for providing expert domain knowledge, implementation approach and process design related to the LYNX solution. This includes customized build to meet client requirements. The CPC is also responsible for gaining up to date knowledge to support the latest code enhancements and new functionality. As a CPC, you will be responsible for mentoring other team members and performing knowledge transfer across the LYNX Team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified Professional Coder OR an ER nurse with 2+ years of experience (ER) and knowledge of the coding process
Coding experience in the Emergency Department OR outpatient clinic setting
Ability to travel 60% nationwide
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent verbal, written co! mmunication and presentation skills
Strong process analysis skills and ability to work in a team and collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing LYNX solutions ideal
Willingness to relocate to Kansas City, MO
