Key Services / Accountabilities:
Services Administration & Delivery â" Provide leadership in the delivery and quality of programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Oversee the design and implementation of processes in providing services. Stay abreast of new trends and significant developments within the field of developmental disability services and Emmaus Clients and manage the execution of strategies in implementing best practices.
Client Services Leadership â" Serve as a key member of the Client Service s Leadership Team and Operations Leadership Team. Interface with the Executive Team and the Senior Staff Team in matters related to Client Services. Participate in the strategic planning process and provide feedback and information necessary to assist the COO and Executive Team in settin! g vision, determining direction and implementing strategy.
Fiscal Responsibility â" Oversee the development and monitoring of client service budgets with profit and loss accountability. Ensure client services meet the organizationâs strategic plan and objectives. Make recommendations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery processes for current activities and activities related to projected growth.
Management â" Provide oversight for all staff accountable for direct client service delivery. In cooperation with Human Resources, direct the full lifecycle of staff development including recruitment, hiring, training, managing, coaching, and terminating when appropriate. Develop a culture that promotes employee engagement, teamwork and excels in grass roots problem solving and prevention, innovation and change implementation. Foster volunteerism within the program teams for development events and employee recruitment. Coach and enable staff to effectively and productively interact with other departments.
Quality Management â" Emmaus subscribes to the set of Developmental Disability National Core Indicators. Support in the development of outcome-based measurements, monitor progress and manage services toward achieving those outcomes. Collaborate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and the integration of best practices agency-wide. Oversee staff to ensure all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with the organizationâs policies and procedures, CARF, DMH, HIPPA and other regulatory and accreditation organizations. Participate in the development of policies and procedures to assure compliance.
Client Care and Service â" The Vice President of Client Services will believe in the organizationâs mission and that quality client service is of top priority. Respect for the clients, families & guardians, employees, Board members, and all other constituents, coupled with professional and ethical behavior is expected at al! l times.

Plans and processes for service delivery exist and are implemented. Service delivery processes are in a state of continuous improvement with respect to improved effectiveness and efficiency.
Executive Team and Senior Staff interface is productive and efficient.
Budgets are monitored. Plans and processes are in place for client recruitment to maintain current census. Expenses are controlled and adjusted.
Performance of Client Services is effective, efficient, and customer oriented.
Client Services are compliant with all requirements of regulatory and accreditation agencies.
Management Team members, at various levels, are educated as to their role and accountability with respect to service delivery. Feedback from stakeholders regarding the Vice President of Client Services will be consistent with demonstrating respect, professionalism, and the fulfillment of the Emmaus Mission.
Required Experience
Edu! cation
A Bachelorâs degree is required; human services, psychology, healthcare, or related field preferred.
Experience
At least 8 years of progressive management experience in human services. Familiarity with the developmental disability community is highly desirable. Experience with faith-based organizations is desirable.
Multi-site experience is highly desirable.
Strong management skills with a successful track record in attracting and retaining top talent and building a solid, high performing team.
Working knowledge of Medicaid and/or Medicaid waivers preferred. Knowledge of regulations impacting the DD community, assisted living, skilled nursing and/or senior services are highly desirable.
Must be active in the community â" serving on Boards, volunteering and belonging to organizations.
