The role of the Enodscopy Technician is multi/skilled.
The tech performs patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
The Endoscopy technician provides routine and therapeutic services necessary for the care of the patient within their scope of care.
The care provided is in support of the mission of Research Medical Center.
The Endoscopy technician for department 733 provides care to the young adult age 18-39, Adult age 40-64, and geriatric age 65 and older.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirem! ents:
Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications:
Patient Care Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant required.
American Heart Association BCLS required.
Experience:
None required, prior experience as an endoscopy technician or nursing assistant is preferred.
Equipment/Machine Skills:
Computer skills preferred.
