School Nurse
Location: Nixa Missouri
Description: Nixa R-2 School District is in need of School Nurse right now, this position will be placed in Missouri. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. PRIMARY TASKS
Building Nurse â€" Immunization/Health records, yearly health screenings. Deliver first aid, develop and implement health plans. Promote and protect the health status of students and staff. Assist in fron! t office as needed with phones and clerical.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
Health screenings, member of the Wellness and Safety Teams. Provide individual health plans and crisis intervention for illness, injury,
and emotional disturbances. Classroom teaching of health topics.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
RN preferred; will consider LPN; at least 2 years' clinical experience preferred. Prefer experience in school setting.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug test that are satisfactory to the Board of Education.
Willingness to understand and support District's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan.
