Job Description:
Full-Time Position for a Hospice RN (Registered Nurse) to work out of our Bridgeton branch office. This position is full-time with hours Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Job Duties:
- Demonstrates the ability to assess the needs of the patient/develop and implement plan of care
- Observes and assesses nursing needs of the patient as frequently as the patients condition and needs require
- Provides and assists with nursing services, treatments, diagnostic, preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as appropriate for patients care and safety
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively monitor pain and symptom control, identify adverse reactions, significant side effects, drug allergies, etc.
- Coordinates with the IDG team needs of patient and family
- Supervises home health aide staff
- Demonstrates knowledge and maintains compliance of agency policies and procedures
- Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri
- Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance
- Prior hospice experience preferred
